By the time the TNT task force was formed in NY, Black and brown crack customers were getting arrested at record rates DESPITE the majority of the crack users being WHITE. I’m sick. #CrackNetflix

When Clinton signed the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994, that poured more into police surveillance is bigger and smaller cities and also people saw an explosion in the prison population.

Why was it a ‘war on drugs’ but not a war on those supplying the drugs? We know the answer but it angers me that those in high authority were able to skate by in their lives while the Black community suffered. #CrackNetflix
Just finished the documentary. I’m pleased. It was informative, but the more I indulge in these stories, I realize how much Black people have suffered at the hands of the government. Especially presidents and politicians who have sworn to protect them. #CrackNetflix
