I struggle with anyone who argues they only seen this demise coming under Lennon at the start of the season.

2 weeks into 19/20 season he kept the players on the pitch after Dunfermline because they were already under serious pressure/questions.

There was plenty warnings.
Average life at a club of 2 years for a reason. He’s a motivator. That’s it.

That style of management doesn’t lend itself to long term productivity within a football club. He’s like the guys down south who get the call every so often to save a team from the drop.
There’s only so many times you can stand and talk about values, the fans, passion, before it becomes white noise.

Players want to win by being tactically organised & technically better.

With no supporters, Lennon’s management doesn’t work, he relies on them creating intensity.
Closed Doors has put a massive spotlight onto managers and showing up those who can coach their teams.

Gerrard is the opposite. His team had a vulnerability about them that no supporters is undoubtedly helping. Ibrox would’ve been a cesspit when they went behind Motherwell.
