What are y'all's headcanons for why the 5th Blight as so quick and clean as compared to historical ones? HoF is just that badass? Archdemon made some serious tactical mistakes/possibly from Architect's meddling? Modern advancements just made it easier to handle? Historical lies?
I'm super curious and would love for you to comment any theory crafting below, if it's a quirk of the games you're interested in. All theories valid! Including the one where the Archdemon just fell in love with your HoF and so didn't give it his all.
Mine is the "tactical mistake". Urthemiel was a little foggy and on that weird juice thanks to Architect, and so exposed himself way sooner than other archdemons would have. He figured "eh tricked the big army into going to the wrong place, I can come out and play for a bit"
Everyone showing up here is the coolest. I love the theories popping up this is my *jam* y'all are awesome and clever and I am having the time of my life keeping up with this thread.
