It's a tough time for a book to come out, and some of my clients are publishing their second consecutive book in a lockdown, without the benefit of bookshop browsing and an open trade.
So to celebrate and help support my clients' work & combine it with some new year cheer, I'm offering a workshop to people writing for children and wanting some insight into the business of children’s books and getting published.
If you send me proof of purchase/pre-order of one of my Jan/Feb 2021 books (a screenshot/photo), you're invited to a 1hr workshop on zoom.
Here I’ll talk about submissions that I’ve loved and why, advice on sharing your work, and tell the story of what happens on an agent’s side of things. The aim is to give you some good context on what we do, and how this business works. Some demystification!
I’ll open my DM’s, so send the proof there by 31st Jan. No personal information on the shot please! The workshop will be on Wednesday 10th Feb at 6.00 PM in the UK. I’ll send you joining details by DM.
