Ok, I might get cancelled for this. But I've been meaning to get this off my chest for a while. People are so quick to cancel smaller content creators rather than to educate them.
Draggie said something insensitive that he tweeted about imitating Mexican accents. He quickly 1/?

realized that people were offended so he deleted the tweet and asked a genuine question, which is the way to go when you make a mistake. And he got hella pqrts on it which didn't sit right with me because he was clearly open to educate himself on the topic.
Cancel culture is useful at times, but it's supposed to be
1. Call them out
2. Hold them accountable
3. Cancel them
But the people who are so quick to jump on small cc's tend to skip the first two.
Draggie deleted the tweets and apologized as soon as he was called out.

There were no need for all the pqrts.
When bigger content creators make mistakes nobody is this quick to jump to conclusions and cancel them. There's like this sort of social hierarchy
Also if you have an issue with something I said my dms are always open :)

Draggie isn't the only cc I've seen this happen to, just the most frequent one I've seen. Same this with Eret, Sylvee, and even Addison Rae! Obviously they're not small content creators but they're the first people who come to mind.

I'm Dominican, Hispanic. I'm not accepting his apology because I can't. People have the right to be offended, I have no right to be offended and I don't blame other people for being offended! I'm not speaking on this situation specifically I'm speaking about cancel culture in gen
If you're Mexican and this tweet doesn't sit right with you I will take it down and educate myself on why
To clarify, I'm not saying that he's getting cancelled, but a lot of aspects of cancel culture linger. If you're Mexican are you're upset YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE. If you do or don't accept his apology that's up to you. I'm not Mexican nor did I claim to have accepted his apology
If you're Mexican and only if you're Mexican vote
