Whoaaaa! Thor 259! I think Buscema lightboxed the cover and then swapped Volstagg in for Grey Gargoyle. But I guess it’s possible that this is a stat of his actual pencils and Grey Gargoyle was added in later? Anyone out there know the answer?

I’ve been so obsessed with finding the source of these pages that I dreamt about it last night. In my dream it was an issue of The Defenders with the characters swapped out. Red Guardian in place of Cap! I can’t crack the case. The mystery endures!
