You try to seal the deal by connecting to a watchtower to open a pre-paid Lightning channel. It fails because you're not online, so you ask the coffee shop owner for their Wifi code. "See", you say smugly, after holding up the queue for 20 minutes, as you enter your card details.
After 3 failed attempts to overfund by pre-paying $100 into your channel for two tall lattes, you ask the owner to install the Blockstream app, so you can pay with LBTC. You fund an instant transfer and after 3 confirmations and another half an hour, you pay $35 for your coffee.
The barista looks confused, wondering how he claims his VAT receipt for that transaction. You explain that this is world changing global tech. Your random stranger runs out of the door, thinking you're mad, as you angrily shout "Ok Boomer" at him from afar. True story. Probably.
