Since we are officially 99 days from the 2021 NFL Draft, I am starting a new draft related series:
99 Problems But The Pick Ain’t One
Each day I will pose a draft pick related question concerning the team at bat that day. Follow along for some fun and interesting conundrums!
99 Problems But The Pick Ain’t One
Each day I will pose a draft pick related question concerning the team at bat that day. Follow along for some fun and interesting conundrums!
Problem 1: Jags QB
T-Law won’t be putting up Mahomes-esque numbers in his rookie year. That being said, his surrounding cast, along with Meyer’s notoriously QB friendly scheme, line him up for a promising year 1.
What’s the earliest you pull the trigger on T-Law in a 1QB?

Problem 2: Jets QB
With the Jets once again picking high for what feels like the 15th time in the last decade, QB is at the heart of discussions.
In your opinion, with picks 2, 27, 34, 66, 91, and 98, would you help surround Darnold or roll the dice with a rookie QB at 2?

Problem 3: Dolphins WR or OL
We will ignore the Watson speculation for the time being.
Having shipped off Tunsil in the offseason and their Top 2 options at WR constantly sieged with injuries, what is Miami’s best option at 3? An elite WR like Chase/Smith, or the wall Sewell?

Problem 4: ATL’s Dilema
Sitting at 4 without a realistic need for QB, a new head coach who loves to pound the rock, and holes all along the defense ATL sits in a tricky spot.
If trading back isn’t an option would you: Sure up LB w/ Parsons, take your CB1, or add another WR?

Problem 5: Cincy’s Pickle
Cincinnati has OL issues, it’s a simple as that. But is the pick at 5 as simple as that?
With Sewell likely gone at 5, does Cincy reach for the 2nd best OL prospect on their board, or go with a playmaker with the exit of AJG eminent? Potentially Pitts?
