I've been a bit underwater due to a death in my immediate family. But I first found out who was running for #DNCElections via twitter one week ago, Jan. 14. The election is today. https://twitter.com/RL_Miller/status/1349853978264145920
and I have no objection to the slate. From what I've seen, some state parties are really dysFLunctional, others are WIdely praised, and @harrisonjaime would commit to strengthening state parties. (Dunno if he will improve on the secrecy/ paranoia of Tom Perez) #DNCElections
Rather, my concern is how much of a rush job this appears to be. DNC rules & bylaws committee apparently passed the rules setting up this #DNCElections on Jan. 11, no public input at all -- not even the performative/ fake input we saw last summer.
candidates were given THREE DAYS, from Rules & Bylaws setting up rules for this #DNCElections, to file.
In the middle of a few other national crises. That's not sufficient time to plan/ run a campaign.

And I've gotten a couple of emails from a couple of random folk but for the most part there has been no campaigning. #DNCElections
Instead we are told that we are expected to vote for the President's slate. Because why? well, because that's the way it is. #DNCElections
So I have voted NO on the Rules & Bylaws package setting up the rules, basically as a protest vote. I have not organized others to vote with me because, well, priorities.
