THREAD: The corrupt Iranian regime does not care about Iran's people, Iran's culture or Iran's prosperity. They view Iranians as mere ants that build their wealth & power. They view Iran just as a base for exporting their theocratic system. The Islamic Republic stands on
2. Clerical and militia dictatorship (velayat faqih) and pan-shiism / pan-islamism only. Iran & its people are not the focus. This is proven in Khomeini's books such as Hokumate Eslami as well as his response when asked about how he feels returning to Iran: "hich (nothing)".
3. The civil liberties of Iranians are completely neglected and any dissent or pushback against imposition of the regime's ideology is viewed as 'moharebeh' which literally means waging war on God. This charge has been used for tens of thousands of executions the past 42 years.
4. Iran has the highest execution rate per capita in the world. Many of these are political prisoners charged with Moharebeh. Massive unofficial purges and massacres of dissidents have been carried. In 1980s about 50,000 people, 1990s chain murders, the Nov 2019 massacre etc.
5.Iranian women face political & socioeconomic repression and are made to feel 'sinful' for not adhering to the regime's ideas: forced veiling, segregation, cycling ban etc. The IR has a Taliban-style view of women but can't fully enforce it because of Iranian women's resistance.
6. The economic corruption of the regime is extremely high. The IRGC controls 70%+ of the nation's economy and frequently embezzles funds. Khamenei has a $95 billion net worth by running an enterprise called 'Setad' which steals the people's property.
7. The regime sells medicine in illegal trade in Iraq and other countries to profit and blame sanctions for shortage. Billions $ are spent yearly on foreign proxies and not used for the Iranian people. The regime cares more about its foreign supporters than Iranians.
8. The ruling system's fundamentalist ideas make it hard for ethnic groups to exercise basic rights like teaching their own language or have integrated economic development. Religious groups like the Baha'i have been ruthlessly persecuted.
9. Parts of Iran's culture have been eliminated by the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Traditional flags, names of streets and monuments are changed or destroyed. Many songs and dances have been banned. The internet and information is heavily censored.
FREE IRAN FROM THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC REGIME. Write a new constitution promoting a secular democratic national state with civil liberties & rights for all citizens regardless of race, gender or religious beliefs. Promote Iran's rich culture and history. Let Iranians live free.
