First time watching a full Kings game in weeks, so I’m gonna drop some thoughts in a thread.
Take these with a grain of salt as I’ve been out of touch for a minute.

The Kings have a center problem.
Holmes is an amazing energy guy with impeccable character and elite touch around the basket. But he’s not deterring any attacks in the lane.
Makes me understand the swing on Whiteside a little more. Metu is fun but probably not fixing this issue

Haliburton is an obvious stud. Like I don’t need to elaborate on this. Just thanking God out loud.
Fox is an obvious stud too, and Haliburton fits so well with him. But they desperately need consistency in the frontcourt.

Pretty damn noticeable that Bagley isn’t being force fed possessions as much. The more he works in the flow of the game, the better he is. Every travel and charge gives me nightmares, but I’ll sleep easy tonight.
What on earth has happened to Buddy Hield?
He has really hit a point where his defense can’t be hidden by his offense. It’s a feel issue.
Speaking of feel, it seems like Barnes never makes the wrong decision. He can’t be a focal point but he’s a brilliant 5th starter.

This team could be so fun and exciting if they gave CoJo and GR3s minutes to Woodard and Guy. While we’re at it, trade Buddy when Ramsey is back and just give us the Jah’mius show.

Kings only allowed 94 points, but in no way did this feel like a good defensive performance. They were significant favorites in a home game against the Knicks. About what I expected.
Some good, some bad. But plenty of hope for the future, if Sacramento has the balls to pursue it
