I used to be totally against paid tweets as I thought this is about deceiving the follower who follow you for your ideology, wit, humour & not for your promotional tweets. But then I realised if they are making money without harming anyone, there is nothing wrong

In real life, cricketers, other sportspersons, actors endorse products because these people have fans & followers who get influenced by them, their actions.
However we followers & fans may be naive but are not idiots

It’s up to the celebs, be it in real life or on SM to choose & examine the product they are endorsing and decide. If you’re promoting a product, a TV show that’s against the ideology you represent, I’d believe your ideology is fake & you deceived & befooled your fans & followers
Choosing or accepting any product, show movie to promote should come naturally and not forcefully. If your fans, followers loved you for your work, for your intellect, your wit they have all the rights to criticise & dump you as well. They aren’t your slaves but your well wishers
If we as Indian patriot which most of us are, against Chinese products we do criticise those endorsing them no matter even if it is Akshay or Dhoni. I’ve a huge respect for our stats who refused to endorse products which are unhealthy and not safe despite being offered big money
I’m no celeb but I received some offers to promote TV shows & apps, I politely refused. As of now I promise I won’t promote anything just for money. If anything suits my ideology or to help anyone, I’d do it for no money & it it doesn’t I won’t do for any amount of money
