Hospital teams out there using the UCL-Ventura CPAPs - the breathing circuit configuration makes a BIG difference to oxygen flows.

The circuit configuration defines the circuit resistances, so changing components can increase O2 flow rates and waste O2 - will carry through to other CPAPs too
E.g. replacing the twin port with a single port mask can increase O2 flows by >=40%. Either replacing the smooth bore tubing with corrugated, or switching out the filters to small ones, can individually increase O2 flows by >=10%
O2 flows at 60% FiO2, 10cm H20 CPAP based on bench testing and healthy volunteer evaluations (not yet published!)
