The story of the incredible talent know as Kanye West is a very interesting yet extraordinary story. He started his career as a producer in the later 1990s to the early 2000s, producing some incredible pieces of music such as Common's 'Be'.
The story of the incredible talent know as Kanye West is a very interesting yet extraordinary story. He started his career as a producer in the later 1990s to the early 2000s, producing some incredible pieces of music such as Common's 'Be'.
Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper, Kanye West released his debut album 'The College Dropout' in 2004. This had a huge amount of success commercially and is critically acclaimed by many, and some look at it as his best work to date, including yours truly.
With this success, he founded to GOOD Music label, and he took off from him. With this said however, there is an album within his catalogue that did not only better commercially, but is looked at as one of the best music albums to ever be created.
Of course, this is Kanye West's hit album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'; an album which had numerous hours or work put into it and is now one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all time, loved by many music critics and the average music listener.

Looking at just the music on this album, it's clear why many people hail it as such an incredible body of work. The highs on here are incredibly high and features some of Kanye West's most successfully commercial tracks.
Looking at just the music on this album, it's clear why many people hail it as such an incredible body of work. The highs on here are incredibly high and features some of Kanye West's most successfully commercial tracks.
Some examples of these songs are 'Runaway', 'POWER', 'Monster' and 'All Of The Lights', all of which have over 191M+ streams on the streaming platform of Spotify, and it is understandable why too.
However, not only is this album super successfully commercially, but it also just has incredible track all over it, like the previously mentioned tracks, 'Dark Fantasy', 'Gorgeous', 'So Appalled' and most notably 'Devil In A New Dress'.
Every track here was extremely enjoyable to an extent and are clear reasons as to why this album was so great. While admittedly after the track 'Runaway', it starts to fall of a bit and become a bit forgettable, it doesn't affect the album too much.
The concept this album takes on, the artistic skill put into place and the impressive verses from everyone, whether it was from hip-hop legends Raekwon and Jay-Z, modern hip-hop celebrity Nicki Minaj, to even folk star Bon Iver.
The majority of the features and overall verses on here are incredibly enjoyable. This body of art was really shaped up into a borderline masterpiece from the work of everyone within this album, most notably Kanye West himself, who did a fantastic job creating this.
Overall, this album is looked at as one of the greatest works of music for a reason. While it isn't my personal favorite from Kanye West, it is definitely up there as one of his best albums to date, and it is makes sense as to why many people adore this.
