The name of MeiMei’s skill that appears in volume 12 of Jujutsu Kaisen is ‘Kamikaze’ (Bird Strike/Divine Wind) - this was the name of the Japanese special attack unit of military aviators who flew suicide attacks for Japan in the Pacific campaign of WW2.

This skilled is defined as : By having a crow commit suicide, the trade-off is to erase the cursed energy limit of a typically weak bird, and hurl it at the enemy.

The way the birds are hurled at the enemy is also similar to the way the Kamikaze attacked: the pilots would attempt to crash their explosive filled aircrafts into enemy ships.
3800 Kamikaze pilots died during the war and more than 7000 naval personnel were killed by their attacks. It definitely isn’t something that should be glorified. I know that the author Gege didn’t glorify it upfront but as MeiMei is one of the good guys, the name of this skill
and the way it works seems controversial.
