It’s not only imports into spain , but also exports heading to the U.K. - main places to clear customs either irun on San Sebastián side direction biarritz or la jonquera on Barca side . Expecting a delivery to spain and it’s delayed ? This may be why ..
Someone I know collected a job in Ostrava CZ today .. had to drive to the Ukraine border to clear customs ...5 hours each way . It’s unsustainable
I’m currently in spain . If I’m asked to collect an import chances are I’ll go and collect papers in irun - and sit there with everyone else . It’s why I’m coming back empty . I simply can’t be bothered with the aggro
Of course you might get lucky and find an obscure agent in an office block somewhere in San Sebastián - but that’s highly unlikely . It’s also up to the U.K. client importing the goods to find the agent
