2) I feel like no one paid a single iota of attention to wat Miles Bridges has said about being tired of losing. In order to grow and develop this team, they kinda needed to invest in this team
3) This braintrust of this team SPECIFICALLY avoided talking playoffs when asked about it. It's almost like they knew something about this roster.
4) As @British_Buzz pointed out, the 9 month development lag is a thing still.

5) JB's overperformed with the roster every single year he's coached here. He's MORE than earned the benefit of the doubt on any "mistakes"
And lastly... 6) Losing as many games as possible doesn't help you. Go look at the win totals of teams make jumps in the lottery.....
