And that's important to understand, because Power Girl took that name so she's not confused with her cousin.
Her having her own identity is important to her character.

Her individuality is what matters, more so than a symbol on her chest -- or for that matter, a boob window.

Boob window or not, there really shouldn't be a symbol on Power Girl's chest.
Because in doing so, you just make her more like another character that's already out there:
Supergirl.
We don't need that, and neither does Power Girl.
