End of an era as I say goodbye to @BasicsEssex I joined the scheme 7.5 years ago after finishing military general duties, I was ambitious and keen to start doing some pre hospital care in my local community. I was welcomed, encouraged and fortunate to be given the opportunity
I responded to multiple calls as an autonomous responder and helped to set up the immediate care car. I also made some lifelong friendships with some excellent clinicians who remain my “phone a friend”.
@BASICS_HQ @BasicsEssex was a great stepping stone into PHEM and we even got to train with @Stanstedfire Fundraising for the scheme was a family affair with Mrs B
During my time as a @BASICS_HQ responder I have worked alongside a number of amazing blue light organisations on scene and had opportunities to join training exercises with them @EHAAT_ @EastAngliAirAmb @Magpas_Charity @LDNairamb @EPRoadsPolicing @roadpoliceBCH @ECFRS @HFRS
Thanks to everyone who helped me along the way @iampaulgates @nick_sillett @GaynorScaife @DocPads @AmboOfficer @JamieRCCP @jaysamouelle44 @AEKemp_Tony @BASICS_HQ @EEAST_TOC @EastEnglandAmb @EEAST_EOCs @EEAST_HART
