I left Ohio to go to law school because the cost of higher education was out of control. I missed the chance to attend my first choice school bc of it. Republicans are doing everything they can to keep us from being a “progressive state.” From abortion bans, to stand your ground, lack of public transit options, LGBTQ & racial discrimination, & more Ohioans are leaving bc of 20+ years of republican policies pushing people out.
I know this story well. And if people would just listen to why Ohioans are leaving or why they don’t view Ohio as a destination state what we heard today is just lip service. A PR campaign is not going to cut it. We need policies that put people first & provide opportunities.
Republicans have had decades to get it right. Now everything is wrong and they are wondering why. Look no further than your failed policies.
