Accusations of violent misconduct need investigating & it's extremely important that victims are always heard & protected - especially if a celebrity is involved.

I know a *lot* of older folks who take great offense when younger people do not automatically defer to them - especially if they're "known" in the community. Most of the older people at my former church are like this. My mother is like this.

It's hard to even think of just how enraged & sad we will all be if it turns out that Adam Driver DID treat an older lady like garbage & assaulted her with a piece of furniture & a whole bunch of other awful stuff & people let him get away with it because he's Adam Driver.
Which is why I'm reserving judgment for now & taking a Twitter break until more is known about this situation.
