How-To

Well, this one should be pretty obvious. If you want to get better at holding, practice clenching and releasing pelvic muscles. Don't clench your ass! If you have a vagina, act like you're trying to hold something up there. Be sure to stay near a restroom just in case!
Safety Tips
>Never hold if it's painful! This could be a sign that your muscles are overworked and could be a precursor to pelvic cramps (big ouch)
>Do not sound while you're holding! Your muscles are already tense from holding, and inserting anything into the urethra, +
especially if you have a vagina, can be extremely painful.
>Do not hold for more than 6 hours! This timer starts from the minute you feel a strong urge to pee. Holding for too long over time can cause bladder stretching which when you get older leads to urinary incontinence, AKA+
urinating involuntarily, AKA not being able to hold anymore.
>Do not hold for long periods more than once or twice a week! Your body NEEDS to recover. You can damage your urethral sphincter if you hold too frequently, which again leads to urinary incontinence.
Side Effects

Holding for a safe amount of time can cause:
>Mild discomfort or tightness in the abdomen
>Euphoria or extreme relief when released
>Higher volume of urine, more pronounced odor and color

Holding too long or too frequently can cause:
>Abdominal pain
>Pain or +
dizziness while urinating
>Moderate to severe discomfort
>UTIs, especially in those who suffer these infections frequently
>Chronic bladder stretching
>Increased risk of urinary incontinence
>Increased risk of kidney stones, especially among those with high mineral urine
>Pelvic+
muscle weakening or damage
>Urethral sphincter weakening or damage

TL;DR, don't hold for longer than 6 hours, stop if it hurts, and don't hold more than twice a week. Be safe, and have fun.
