watching over the jan 6 vod, crying the amount of discourse there is but as a former techno apologist, tommy was in the right completely. although some of tommys problems were caused by government, techno pushed his beliefs too hard on tommy when all that lmanburg did to him was-
betray him (but not really). philza lost his son because of lmanburg which make his actions more justified but all techno did in the end was use his corruption of power to destroy the government that was ‘corrupt’ (kinda an oxymoron right?). the government wasn’t abusing its -
-power of the people of the smp. if anything it made people of less power (tubbo, quackity, fundy) more equal to people like techno and dream. technos ideals of anarchism are not inherently flawed but his abuse of power to push these ideals is very contradictory.
AND ITS SO ANNOYING because techno was betrayed in a friendship manner by tommy but WHAT DOES LMANBURG HAVE TO DO WITH THAT? his only rebuttal the entire time is that he must destroy lmanburg to instill freedom when no ones freedoms were being taken away. tommy was a bad friend -
-to techno but techno shouldn’t cross his ideals with tommy betraying him. it was never about freedom, it was about getting back at tommy for betraying him.
