You need to remember, Abu Sayyaf always have insider. You will never know. They might look like local or they are the local.

If you ask me, is it safe to do an Island hopping or sleep in any resorts there. Yes it safe bcs kawalan ketat penguatkuasaan tertumpu di kawasan byk pelancong. You can see many enforcement there.
