(maybe rt cause this took me forever)
- don't call out lurkers (ex: don't say "hi karl" if you see them on the user list, unless he says something in chat)
- don't spam things (ex: subject colors, zodiac signs, time zones, NO AGES, etc.)
- don't talk about other streamers (ex: "_ went live", "you should call _", "you should play with _", etc.)
- don't donate personal things (streamers are not your therapist!)
- no backseat gaming (ex: don't tell streamers how to play the game unless they ask)
- don't tell them who to raid/host unless they ask (ex: you should raid _) especially if the streamer isn't even ending their stream
- don't spam copypastas (this is self explanatory)
- don't make things nsfw (also self explanatory)(nsfw- not safe for work aka sexual/inappropriate)
- don't dono asking streamers to say certain things that could make them uncomfortable (ex: "can u say _ rights?" and things that could be weirdchamp)
- RESPECT THE MODS. this one is huge. without the lovely mods chat would be very shitty so you should never be rude to them
- don't ask for gambling consistently! if the mods/streamer wants to do a prediction they will, and it gets very over whelming for mods when everyone is asking over and over again
- don't tell streamer to go to bed or mention how long they've been streaming (ex: "i went to bed and your still streaming" "it's so late you need to go to bed", etc.) streamers know how to take care of themselves!
- don't tell streamers what to do/play (ex: "you should play on the smp", "play minecraft", "why aren't you playing _", etc.)
- don't ask for gifted subs (self explanatory, it's rude af)
(this isnt etiquette but i highly suggest it) - if your on pc/not on mobile, download bttv! it's a free browser extension that gives you cool moving emotes :)
- don't tell mods to put chat in emote/sub/follower only, if the mods deem it necessary they will, but don't tell them how to do their "job" (it's not really their "job" but i didn't know how else to put it)
- don't baby streamers, about anything.
- don't mention their viewer count(in a bad way) unless the streamer asks (ex: omg your dropping viewers", etc.)
if i forgot any, add more cause i'm definitely forgetting some stuff)
