Someone told me that they feel bad for my black children, because I wasn’t teaching them that white people are racist horror stories on two legs.

Because what does a 7, 5, 4, and 1.5 year old really need to learn aside from that?

I’m not tainting my children’s minds.

We will cross that bridge if and when we get to it. Until then, I’ll for sure teach that..

1. All people are fearfully & wonderfully made in the image of God, gloriously diverse and precious in His sight.

2. Sin has affected all people, so they won’t see anything properly.

If/When we get to that bridge I’ll tell them that...

1. Some people will try to rationalize their inward sin by blaming someone else’s outward appearance. That says nothing about others&everything about the sinner.

2. Christ came to save people from all their sins—including us.
