Chris Ballard is joining @dandakich right now. Thread to follow.

On the QB/Wentz chatter: “We are exploring lots of options...I can tell you this, there’s no trade going down today.”
Ballard on Andrew Luck’s “meeting” with Jim Irsay yesterday:

“There was no meeting…Andrew is retired.”
Ballard reiterating that he has a lot of faith in Frank Reich and the staff to make the QB decision work.
Ballard on QB/draft debate:

“You can’t trade up and take the wrong guy…there’s a fine line between being aggressive and desperate. We are not going to operate in a desperate world…we will be aggressive when we need to be aggressive.”
Ballard asked by @dandakich about T.Y. Hilton.

Says he still thinks Hilton, a free agent, can still play a ‘significant’ role. Will depend on the market. Acknowledges there’s work to do.
Ballard asked if he thinks the Colts are a Super Bowl team:

“Do I think we are a Super Bowl team right now? No. There’s too many questions in play. But we have time.”
Ballard asked about the coaching in the Buffalo game:

“Not perfect.” Compares it to missing in the draft.

Ballard loved Reich’s aggression late in the 1st half. Says Reich has no regrets on the 4th down pass to Pittman. 3rd down pitch to Taylor though...
