Thrilled to see the House pass the #NationalApprenticeshipAct earlier today!

and check out our latest blog post from @KelseyBerkowitz to learn more about how the bill
would improve our nation’s registered apprenticeship system: https://bit.ly/2YROdIS

The bill would create 1 million apprenticeships over the next 5 years, promote apprenticeships in growing fields like health care and IT, and help workers recover from this pandemic. https://bit.ly/3ttKhw1
It would expand apprenticeship opportunities to groups that have traditionally been left out, including:
women
people of color
people with disabilities
returning citizens
This is just one way we can ensure an inclusive economic recovery.

Third Way is particularly glad to see that the bill would help states set up and expand apprenticeship hubs, which are key to creating more apprenticeships in new fields and for smaller businesses.
Apprenticeship hubs are an idea Third Way has called for as part of our Apprenticeship America proposal, and we’re proud to see it included in this legislation. https://bit.ly/2MHzjCx
Congrats to @EdLaborCmte on today’s vote!
We look forward to working with the Senate to get apprenticeship legislation across the finish line.
