How do I sign up?
You click the link in their bio to join the Beta of the engine then when you see a tweet you believe to be misleading you click where you would normally report and instead click “add to birdwatch” this is currently only available in US but should roll out soon.

Why is this good?
Birdwatch is amazing as it quite literally gets rid of tweets & accounts spreading false/misleading information about anyone or anything without bringing more attention to the account for more people to then question the their thoughts, etc.

Not only does this help the CC when dealing with antis etc it also helps them in the fact as once one piece of false info is added to the database it will stay there meaning if someone posts the same info and someone reports it to birdwatch it will nearly instantly be removed.
How does it work?
It is a automated system meaning it needs to build itself up overtime by people adding the false information which is being spread, although because there is a set team behind this it is much much faster than normally reporting an account.

Overtime it will become much faster and faster and not only help with false information inside of the gaming/content creation scene but in politics and other things!
What if it doesn’t know?
If it does not know then it won’t be added but that’s why it is important for multiple people to activate this, as the more people that report it the more sure it’ll be, of course the team behind it fact checks everything first.

It’s a way better version of reporting so it would honestly mean the world to me and a ton of other CCS if anyone from America can sign up, I hope it rolls out soon but, This will help so many community’s a lot!
