Okay shall we? Korean hair care products that have changed my life and made me divest from black hair care brands. I had to, they just weren’t working for me and appeared to be doing more harm than good. https://twitter.com/abarbyworld/status/1358768285039419395
CP-1 scalp scaler. Balances your scalp and cleanses the scalp pores. Good for oil control, but doesn’t dry out your hair. I used to have flaky scalp but using this once a month helped.
This shampoo! And the conditioner it comes with. Not cheap but worth it. Your hair will be soft, clean and moisturised! By Nature Republic (they also make the best face masks)
Toosowong Sleeping Hair Pack. I use this once every two weeks. If you got dry, thirsty, damaged hair this is the shit for you! The results have been so good I’m going to start using it once every 3 weeks instead.
The best hair mask IN THE WORLD. All my friends love me for introducing them to this. All two of them. Including my mom.
Any Lador products are my bag but the Tea Tree Scalp Clinic Hair Pack are perfect especially if you have problematic scalp.
I didn’t even know I needed a scalp toner till I started using one. It makes sense for the same reason a facial toner does I think?
Aromatica hair essence. If you have problematic scalp, oily or dry, this is good for you. Otherwise go and be great!
I have all the Lador products but if you’re on a budget the aforementioned products and this one are a must have. It does have silicone but that’s fine because it’s a serum and is supposed to create a barrier between your hair and harsh elements while locking in nutrients.
Anything by Tony Moly is heavenly and so is this Haeyo Mayo nutrition pack. Life changing.
All these products are very 4c friendly and did not alter my curl pattern but the Kocostar hair mask did define it and I got teeny tiny little zigzag curls.
You can get most of it on EBay or Amazon but I can invite you on Stylevana so you get a discount (and I do too) win win 😍
I should add, I wash my hair once a were. The two weeks thing wasn’t working for me and I don’t think it’s for everyone if I’m being honest.
I also use a hair steamer and scalp massager. It’s currently below my shoulder (without stretching) but I’m getting a big chip in 2 hrs.
