This mixtape is solely a turn up album and it serves for that purpose. Logic dropped it during the summer of 2016, which in hindsight fits that year for it’s trap music filled year. Logic just wanted to release a light hearted easy to listen to mixtape with Bobby Tarantino.
Firstly, the intro Illumintro is a message played in reverse and makes you go out of your way to play in reverse to hear it normal and it’s a special message to the RattPack while the sequels intro is very funny and creative and toying with the idea of which Logic is better-
mixtape logic or album logic and making fun of the fans debating about it I still think a personal message to the fans is better. The sequel never had a skit and the first mixtape did called Studio Ambience At Night: Malibu, and this skits setting is a party and Logic’s producer-
6ix plays a song from the upcoming album at the time titled Everybody. This makes the mixtape better cause it teases the fans about the next album.
The most meaningful track on the album : 44 Bars
This track is Logic just reflecting on his life after releasing the album The Incredible True Story, he basically talks about his all the blood, sweat, and tears he puts into working hard and keep being better for his fans.

Overall the albums individual tracks has better substance rather than just rapping and flexing like Slave and Slave II talking about what you know about 40 days and 40 nights sleeping outside in the wintertime and Deeper Than Money which in itself you can tell what the track-
would be about. Logic does a way better job at adding substance and making it sound trap like and he does it very well on this first Bobby Tarantino. On the sequel, although the tracks are amazing and is feel good some of the tracks lack substance and yes I know music is how it-
makes you feel and doesn’t really matter but again this is just me. So overall I believe the first Bobby Tarantino is bette than the sequel.
This in no way is to make it seem like Logic doesn’t know how to add substance to trap like music anymore he just chose to have it easier and fun in the second one.
