Catholic Charities is NOT taking, sharing coats.

Shelters will take in FEWER people.

For the neighbors living out of their cars or on streets, @HCSOTexas Deputy Kelley explains how you used to be able to find warm shelter at last minute.

BC of #COVID, some shelters require a 7 day quarantine. Others have strict restrictions.

And capacity is limited.

Neighbors like Rhonda Kelley are trying to fill in the gaps. Her non-profit, Homefull, does outreach in west Houston.

From families living in their cars to homeless along Westheimer, Rhonda is using @Nextdoor to ask neighbors for coats, blankets and sleeping bags.
