Thread:

Masculinity looks like something.

Exactly what, the Bible doesn't take a lot of time explaining. But there is a biblical category for men intentionally behaving in ways that resemble women.

The term is "effeminate."
It is not the same category as homosexual activity, though they often are connected. See 1 Cor. 6:9-10.

Also see the related concept from Deut 22:5. Whether a given expression or action is effeminate, we could discuss.
But even aside from the outcome of that discussion, it remains a fact that some very large majority of the people today will judge certain actions as being effeminate (comporting oneself in a way perhaps suitable for a woman to act, but not a man).
To intentionally act in a way that will be perceived as effeminate (a way suitable for a woman, perhaps, to act, but not a man) is to pridefully position oneself as being able to make one's own nature, rejecting God's created design.
It is to pronounce that either effeminate displays by men are good, or that the culture's concept of effeminate is irrelevant.
Think about Deut 22:5. It does not give an outline of how men and women should dress--it allows for cultural context. But within a culture, a man should not act or dress in a way that will be taken as effeminate--because that does imply rejecting the order created by God.
