‼️WHAT’S HAPPENING IN POLAND NOW‼️

the government is planning to introduce a new tax on advertising. it will hit the independent media, making them pay more than they could ever earn.
this is simply an attack on freedom of speech. they’re trying to take control over us.
right now the majority of channels are protesting, turning off their tv broadcasting, radio and websites.

i’m seeing lots of very mean replies/qrts about it so yes, i made a mistake.

they won’t be paying more than they earn (although who knows, everything’s possible here), but instead, private media earn more than the public ones are receiving. that’s it, no need to be an asshole :)
