5 things you need to do when learning how to code

A thread🧵👇
1. You need to be consistent

Coding is something new for your brain and it needs to get used to that.

How you do this?

By exposing it to coding as much as you can.

Even 15 minutes a day is enough.
2. You need to build projects

This is super important and I'm not the only one that says that.

Every developer that used this strategy learned how to code a lot faster.

Start small and break those projects into smaller tasks.
3. You need to avoid tutorial hell

What is tutorial hell?

It's a phase in which you go from one tutorial to another.

The problem is that this way you don't learn how to code.

You just follow what someone else does.

Write code by yourself.
4. Take notes

When you're first learning how to code lots of new concepts are thrown at you.

It's impossible to remember all of them.

That's why writing them down will help you.

You'll thank yourself for doing this every time you'll forget something.
5. Write what you're learning online

Why? Well every time you write something down you understand that concept a lot better.

Plus you could use this as a reference in the future too.

Important: Don't focus on how many people read what you share in the beginning.
