Today I organized a session #NAEM2021 about popular science writing. Here are three of my favourite books about writing popular science, and one online course (a thread) @NERN_network
Here are the books, in no particular order. Each one covers a different aspect of the writing process:
1. The Scientist`s Guide to Writing - How to Write More Easily and Effectively throughout Your Scientific Career. This great book by @StephenBHeard really helped me during my PhD. The author is also the person behind one of my favourite blogs: https://scientistseessquirrel.wordpress.com/
2. Air & Light & Time & Space. Fantastic book by Helen Sword about organizing the writing process and enjoying it;-)
3. How to Write a Lot by Paul J. Silva, great resource to help you keep on writing!
And here is the online course: https://www.coursera.org/learn/sciwrite by @KristinSainani
What are your favourite resources about (popular) science writing? Please share them here! @NERN_network #NAEM2021
This was my first thread... Not sure it worked
