Several patients today who booked and came for Covid vaccine appointments but hadn’t fully made their minds up about whether to go ahead or not yet (which, you know, great though it confuses our drawing up plans!), lots of good chats and all happy to proceed in the end

Almost all of them had been seeing dodgy claims from WhatsApp message forwarding, will we ever be able to do anything about removing or fact checking this misinformation on closed network platforms?

Oh and lots of people who’ve seen media reporting on the SA variant now worried and asking ‘what’s the point in getting the vaccine’, not sure tone of some coverage is helpful given the apparent benefits that remain and lots of other variants around - still get what you can asap!
