Month back I posted about waking up at 4am in response to talking about routines.

I got DM heat about promoting "hustle porn".

So I wrote some thoughts defending hustle culture.

Here are a few highlights 👇
Highlight 1:

We'd all benefit from not judging others for their choices. If you're ok with a 9-to-5 where you rarely need to sacrifice family time, then more power to you.

Yet, if your mission is to be in the top 1% of your field, then we should equally celebrate you.
Highlight 2:

We all have moments when we look in the mirror and don't like the person staring back - so we hide; and when we see someone being more disciplined it's easier to claim they're wrong.

Another path exists - accept yourself and the effort you put in for what you want
Highlight 3:

Know your (and your teams) resentment triggers.

What would make you resent your job - could be missing kid's soccer practice, not working out, etc.

These help you can ensure you keep the right balance and boundaries while aligning towards your mission.
