Covid fatigue is real.
And some of you derive all of your social interaction #onhere. You've been in your own head for too long, ruminating on all that's wrong, especially here in 🇯🇲. Your tweets betray your anger & loneliness. This is a thread of things you can do to relieve
stress even within the boundaries of the pandemic. So mask up, call up a friend, grab your hand sanitizer & get ready to roll, the earlier the better.
1. Coffee at one of the smaller coffee shops where you can sit for a while.
2. Drive out to the Palisados strip or Cable Hut
The open air and sunshine will do you well. Gossip & keep the convo light.
3. Drive up to Holywell and walk a trail. Its 45 min from Papine, and there are trails you can do in 40 minutes. Inhale deeply!
4. Drive up to Cafe Blu Irish Town for coffee. Inhale!
5. Plan a day trip to
Lovers Leap or Jack Sprat, St. Elizabeth. Depart Kingston 7am. Get back b4 8pm
6. Use the highway! It's a hop skip & a jump from Kgn to St. Ann. Go have lunch near the sea! Sharkies is good.
7. Plan a brunch for no more than 3 of you at your own home. Sip mimosas.
Bottom line: you don't have to ruminate and be lonely and angry. It'll be worth the effort.
