Trump's defense team is going to make the argument that the capitol rioters are no different than BLM protesters.
This is NOT a serious argument. They are 1) delivering the talking point to their base, and 2) trying to drag us into an argument that is stupid on its face.

Advice for handling this in the public spaces on social media tomorrow:
Don't engage in the argument when they equate BLM and the Capitol insurrection.
Pivot instead:
"BLM isn't on trial. Trump is. Because he..." and then repeat points from the case made by Raskin & crew.

If we spend the day tomorrow trying to argue against a totally fake argument, we're playing their game.
Trump is a #ClearAndPresentDanger. He needs to be held accountable. We have to safeguard our democracy against violent insurrections by ensuring there are consequences.
