A thread on Mohamed Salah’s best goals for Liverpool (like & rts highly appreciated) :
Number 1 vs Chelsea - This is his best goal in a Liverpool shirt for me, A very very few number of players would be able to pull this off. World class. The most energetic Martin Tyler has been for years.
Number 2 vs Roma - This goal was just sublime to watch. In the Champions league semi final, sticking it top bins against one of the best keepers in the world leaving him with no chance. No celebration, no smile and no emotion. Beautiful.
Number 3 vs Tottenham - Four players isolating him and Salah still managed to find a way through in the final minutes of the game, lobbing World Cup Winner Hugo Lloris. Messi esque.
Number 4 vs Everton (PUSKAS award winning goal) - Shrugging off the player and ever so smoothly turning another, Salah exquisitely finds the top corner of the net winning the goal of the year.
Number 5 vs Red Bull Salzburg - In the narrowest of margins, Mohamed Salah still manages to put the ball in the back of the net.
Number 6 vs Watford - Yet again being crowded by four players, Mohamed Salah twisting and turning finds the bottom corner of the net leaving the defenders to question their own existence.
Number 7 vs Southampton - Touch and finesse shot out side the box and bang. Class goal.
Number 8 vs Manchester City - Ederson is getting way too confident here as Salah fantastically lobs him from 40 odd yards, sending Ederson back to International duty to prepare Alisson’s gloves and towel.
Number 9 vs Crystal Palace - Came on from the bench and just fancied sticking one top bins and going home for Asr prayer. Magnificent.
Number 10 vs Watford - This goal is almost symmetrical to Messi’s goal vs Bayern Munich in 2015. World class from Mohamed Salah here, someone tell him these people have families.
Number 11 vs Porto - Composure, coolness and agility. Mohamed Salah had it all to ever so calmly pass the ball into the back of the net.
Number 12 vs Roma - Again in the Champions league semi final, Salah chips one of best goal keepers in world football with elegance scoring his second of the night.
Number 13 vs Southampton - Being on a goal drought, Mohamed Salah breaks the stalemate and puts Liverpool into the lead which was vital for the title race leaving the away fans to explode.
Number 14 vs Westham - A beautiful pass from Shaqiri into the path of Salah who takes a magical first touch and passes the ball into the net with his weak foot after a deadly counter attack.
Number 15 vs Watford - Watford & Ben foster are Mohamed Salah’s pets tbh. A stunning counter attack and great skill from Salah as he chops the defender, finding the top corner with his right foot. Pure class.
Number 16 vs Manchester United - A stunning pass from Alisson to Mohamed Salah who ran the length of half a pitch, shrugging Daniel James off like he isn’t even there and finishing wonderfully by nutmegging De gea and making him to the splits in the last minutes of the game.
Number 17 vs Spartak Moscow - A sublime turn from Salah and a great finish with his right foot.
Number 18 vs Arsenal - Turning David Luiz and sprinting three quarters of half the pitch in a flash, Mohamed Salah places the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
Number 19 vs Genk - Beautiful feet from Mohamed Salah as he wiggles his way through the defence, calmly placing the ball into the net with his weak foot.
Number 20 vs Everton - The ball falls down to Mohamed Salah and it’s an absolute thunderbolt of a strike from the Egyptian as he finds the net.
