That was an excellent save from Kovar — although I believe he pushed too far. He had a shaky start coming back from loan, he’s doing better.
A red card to the defender and a penalty for us. That was a really good long ball from Ethan — that is one benefit from having him deeper: we have been attempting to exploit their higher line using long balls.
Hannibal does really well to win the penalty there but its saved.

Our high press is allowing us to win/recover the ball high in dangerous situations. We just need to be patient here and not rush things as they are a man down.
Hannibal’s close control will do him very well in the future.
His ability to protect the ball even with his low physicality is the reason he wins so many fouls — he asks important questions to the defenders.

GOAL! Neville has been excellent for us these two games pushing forward and holding width at left back.
That was exactly what we needed: patiently working the ball and finding spaces. Hugill’s run caught out their defensive line.

Shoretire’s pass was excellent here. His ability to find his forwards with a well weighted ball was fundamental to the goal here.
Ah! Shoretire’s wins the free kick by picking up the ball in the central area — again posing threat and hits the bar. Unlucky there.
Galbraith moving to midfield has allowed us to progress and control the ball much better in the central areas. This is good. I expect us to have a much better presence high.

Both free-kick fouls we have won come from just outside the penalty box here. We pose a great threat centrally — and this is the most dangerous area to penetrate well.

That was nice from Shoretire. His technical skillset — especially his incisive passes allows him to drop deeper and penetrate Arsenal’s third and second line or push higher and find his runners/link-up.
HT #MUN 1-0 #ARS. That was a decent half from us — we sustained the pressure of our attacks by winning the ball high up the pitch and exploiting them a man down well. We need to be more patient and economical with the ball.
