Blackburn are a proper funky team numbers wise. Overall excellent data esp attacking wise but dive in & story is muddled. #Rovers have been trailing in games more than they have winning. Only scored 1st in 11 from 28 games (39%) which is approx 18th rank in league.
Yet to lose a game when they score 1st (10-1-0 record). The issue is when teams score 1st against Rovers. 15 times they've conceded 1st goal. Only 1 win when that's happened despite creating ALOT.
Not sure where blame lies in that. To put it into sharp context Rovers are a team who win 2.83 pts if they score 1st and only 0.4 when the opponent does. Not enough big moments going Rovers way. Probably shown best by 8/11 defeats coming by 1 goal.
This team just isn't sturdy enough to give themselves chances to win games of football consistently.
