Here it is. My completely unscientific and anecdotal list: 11 Films Twitter Can't Stop Tweeting will be threading throughout the day. Speak up, agree or disagree and give me the @'s. This is the living, breathing reconsideration of what makes a film loved and retweeted.
In no particular order....
Blade Runner
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe."
I remember when this hit theaters and was considered a failure. It never even opened local to me and I saw it first on Betamax... Let me repeat that. Betamax. Yet over a 40 year span it's now considered the sci-fi GOAT.

The staying power of Blade Runner hinges upon a single performance. Rutger Hauer's "Tears in rain" speech has a lot of mythical deification surrounding it and over time each person involved remembers its inception a bit differently. My greatest joy in reconsidering Blade Runner involves spotting the subtle similarities between it and Citizen Kane. I always search my comparisons and to my surprise Jordan Cronenweth, ASC actually speaks to Citizen Kane inspiring set design, lighting and various aspects of BR.
