#Legacies a thread, There is something I don’t get, so y’all are blaming Landon but mostly Handon shippers for Hope’s character being poorly written, like...what? How is a couple that not a lot of people ship is the reason why a character is not written in a good way-
-And while I think that there is some valid criticism in regards to Landon’s character, I think that the fandom deliberately ignores the good aspects in his character and focus on the times he messed up, well guess what y’all, people mess up, if Landon didn’t mess up then-
-that wouldn’t be realistic at all, he’s portrayed as a 17/18 year old orphan who felt like he didn’t fit in at all, so him feeling like he’s unwanted, him feeling like hope doesn’t love him anymore because he’s human, all means that he thinks he’s not enough-
-and given his life, the fact that even the only family he had was his brother, who he lost, is justified, and to point out y’all’s hypocrisy, when hope acts out in anger or says something she shouldn’t have, the fandom is like “Oh but she lost her whole family, and is still-
-suffering from that”, so why doesn’t Landon get a pass, he had just lost Rafael when he and hope got into the argument, everyone was like “Who dare this teenager who lost the only person who was family to him act out in anger”-
-like if that was the case then when hope acts out give her the same energy you gave to Landon, and don’t take this as me hating hope, this is way far from the truth, what I’m saying is that Hope sometimes does the same thing then gets a pass-
-and the last thing is the fandom complaining that Landon’s only power is dying, yeah well guess what, this is the writers’ problem too, the writers’ gave him powers then took them away, and while I think this is because of MaliLandon and all, it’s still baffles me that a-
-character is blamed for their ‘not in my opinion’ poor writing, and lastly, the fandom’s clear bias when it comes to Josie, and don’t get me wrong, I love Josie, yet you can clearly see how the fandom gives her a pass on a lot of things that they don’t give to landon and Lizzie-
-like how she didn’t apologize for burning hope’s room, or the fact that she burned the painting hope made with klaus yet when landon used klaus’ letter, y’all were like “HOW DARE HE?”, like y’all are gonna criticize an action, don’t be a hypocrite, and that marks the end of my-
-rant lol.
