Our dearest research fund has given him multiple grants worth $3.4 million to research education, entrepreneurship, SDGs, Law, Governance of Resources in Africa and now ... Qatari women!

All of these research topics don’t fall within his Academic expertise or the field of the College of Islamic Studies where he teaches.
It should be noted that a significant amount of these grants go to Dr. Tok as an additional salary. Hence he jumps on every opportunity to get a @qnrf grant, even if it’s not in his professional field or the field of the institution at which he teaches.
This is the story of a “Jack of all trades, master of none,” for how can one person become an expert on all these topics? Let alone receiving grants to research them!
Dr. Evren Tok presents himself as an ally to the Qatari people who’s invested in their affairs. Is it possible that he didn’t hear about Jocelyn Mitchell’s remarks? Especially after the 2019 NUQ students protest ...
Or is this project just another opportunity to receive a grant and advance personal interests, at the expense of our national resources? His record speak for itself.
Simple Q: Africa is a vast continent with vast resources, constituting of 54 multicultural and multiracial countries. How did this researcher minimize and undermine all its intricacies, by oversimplifying the governance of Africa’s resources in such a way? & how did @qnrf accept?
