Thread: We want to acknowledge to the community, local activists & our volunteers that we messed up in our guidance & leadership of this organization. We have not prioritized being intentionally intersectional in the movement. We're sorry for the harm that caused. 1/
We are working on a plan & curriculum to address this shortfall in our work. We will continue to engage community members to make sure we stay intentional in this course of action and maintain accountability. 2/
This curriculum is going to be informed by the folks who were directly harmed as well as transformative justice initiatives. 3/
We recognize that the work we do at the clinic cannot be grounded in choice when access is so difficult for our BIPOC & LGBTQ community members.
