The absolute choice to be *American* throughout a pandemic and the trail of carnage that remains in the wake of that choice, for many Americans they will never be able to truly confront the cause and effect of their belief system and their actions.
Many people from this country on social media have tried and tried to explain to these people what they are doing wrong in terms of managing close contacts.
It's not surprising that people prefer to reshape reality with pseudoscience rather than concede to the dark reality that 300,000 or more of those 500,000 now dead, probably didn't need to die.
I am speaking here more about the wonderful people of this country taking the time to respond to these Americans/British who are firing in all directions as their countries succumb.
Its basic humanity to try and help others, but also we are starting to see the beginnings of survivors guilt. We did it right, and the leadership of these other countries made stupendous errors handling close contacts and border management.
Cosmic blunders that have cost the lives of too many people, and will cost that many more again. We unfortunately, via the internet, have a front row seat watching this bloodbath unfold daily as masses needlessly kill each other trying to maintain the big lie.
There is no real need to defend our methods and strategies, ours have worked. We need to save who you can, yes, but conserve our energy, set our clocks for a long one, and enhance our approaches as the virus further mutates unimpeded in their communities.
