ok since this kinda blew up lemme clear the air and say ari as meg would be so nice she has the voice and talent for it, and this is coming from someone who actually loves and respect ari,,,
however she’s not the meg i pictured if i even had to choose liz gillies would be more perfect for the role— but what’s even better is a hidden talent or an actual trained bway actor getting the role of meg.
it’s not about a charity case??? nothing about this is about a charity case??? it’s about the fact that we have all these hidden talents thrown away without having given a fair fight???
what ever happened to giving other people chances??? especially the ones who haven’t been discovered yet cuz it wouldn’t seem fair to them at all.
OKaY additional since people are still attacking me,,, i get that hercules is one of the most underrated disney films of all time and i know that because i’m also an avid disney fan and hearing the news that hercules was gonna be a live action literally was heaven sent—
IM NOT saying that ari shouldn’t play her, im saying she’s not my top pick as megara, i love ari, i love my girl, and she’s big enough as it is, and sure it will attract audiences but disney’s target shouldn’t be attracting audiences to begin with???
their goal for this movie should be for us to be inlove w both the live action and the animated version of it. disney has a lot of money, even if they can’t make this movie a top movie, they still have a LOT of money in the bag, and im sure generations to come will still watch it
in anyways, i do love her and tHis cover of i wont say im in love when it released was crazy amazing like her voice and control!!!! but she still isn’t my choice as megara, and i hope yall can accept that cause im tired of having to explain my opinion
