I feel like we would deflate a little Christian celebrity culture if we opened up about ghostwriting in books/sermons/conferences/podcasts.
And church/npo/foundation staff who function as research assistants, social media managers, schedulers, editors, promoters, and buyers
I want to clarify: I'm not meaning to punch down at folks who might feel desperate and in need of help preaching a sermon by someone else. I mean the folks whose platforms are built on being a teacher/author/preacher who are not transparent about the sources of their "work"
Local preachers passing off someone else's sermon as their own have some different issues going on which we should still talk about, just not the intent of my OP. Also, different degree if it is a pattern or accepted practice.
